Celebrating our 15th Anniversary with A NEW LOOK AND A RENEWED VISION
This year marks the 15th anniversary of Design Tech Homes. It all started with founders Barbara and Mike Feigin’s vision of building the American dream. And since 1997, we’ve built more than 1,500 custom homes for families throughout Texas. Our family-owned company has grown stronger and become more innovative today than ever. And 2012 promises to be one of the biggest, most exciting years for our company yet. This year we unveil our new look, a new corporate office, new showcase of homes, and many more new things to come. But there’s one thing that remains the same - our commitment to providing excellent design, uncompromised service and quality construction at affordable prices.

As the exclusive builder for MainStreet America, Design Tech Homes will open 12 fully-furnished showcase homes at our current Houston location later this year. Already under construction, these homes will represent an array of architectural designs and include the latest in home furnishings, accessories, technology and superior construction.
These new showcase homes represent just 12 of many exciting DTH floorplans that you can build from today. Or bring us your own plans and we’ll build your custom home from scratch. Come visit us today in any of our three Information Centers. With interest rates still at historical lows, NOW is the best time to build a new home!
San Antonio Tops "Best Performing Cities" Index
The Milken Institute just released its "Best-Performing Cities" index for 2011, and Texas is everywhere you look. Nine Texas cities landed in the top 25 on the institute's list of 200 largest metros, and four of those ranked in the top five, including #1 San Antonio. Some others on the list include Austin–Round Rock (#4), and Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown (#16). The 2011 Milken Institute Best-Performing Cities Index ranks U.S. metropolitan areas by how well they are creating and sustaining jobs and economic growth. The components include job, wage and salary, and technology growth. In most years, these give a good indication of the underlying structural performance of regional economics.
