MainStreet America is a year-round destination where today's consumer can Explore, Experience and Enjoy the latest in home products and services. As the exclusive builder for MainStreet America, Design Tech Homes has designed twelve superbly appointed showcase homes which are currently at pre-construction stage. Our new showcase homes will include a wide range of architectural styles, including Old World Mediterranean, Spanish Courtyard, French Hill Country, Coastal Plain, Greek Revival, Texas Hill Country, Contemporary Modern, Traditional and more. Each will be filled with breath-taking furnishings and stunning décor. You’ll be able to stroll from showcase to showcase making plans for your future home or just shop for ideas. But unlike other model home parks, you’ll be able to create your own virtual shopping cart.

Our specially designed Technological Education Device, known as TED, will give each MainStreet America guest instant access to information on selected products featured in each of the 12 showcase homes. Utilizing RFID technology, guests will wave over a product's RFID hotspot to initiate audio and video feedback. TED will provide the product's brand name, list of features, buying information – all of which can be downloaded into a virtual shopping cart. The result will be a one-of-a-kind learning and buying experience.

Already under construction is the two-story, 44,000 square foot MainStreet America Guest Center. This is where the showcase home tour begins. Here, guests will have access to a vast world of product information and activities, such as:

• Home building and remodeling seminars
• Interior designer consultations
• DIY demonstrations
• Interaction with on-site product representatives
• Home services scheduling
